James “Jerry” Paulino

James “Jerry” M. Paulino, is the Vice President of Business Development & Sales at Guam Pak Express, bringing a wealth of experience from various professional backgrounds. From 2003 to the present day, Jerry has established himself as a successful Real Estate Broker at Realty Partners Guam, an affiliated company of Guam Pak Express. He coordinates property closings, works with developers on selling strategies, and manages existing properties for maximum returns. 

 

His focus on integrity, ethics, and professionalism has led him to create a referral-based business that instructs new clients on successful buying and selling practices.

 

Prior to his current role, from 2000 to 2021, Paulino held the position of General Manager at Guam Pak Express, Inc. He was responsible for the overall management of the logistics and warehousing company, overseeing coordination of consolidation services and developing business plans. His duties also included preparing bid packages to the Federal Government, responding to inquiries and correspondences, and managing other top-level supervisors.

 

Jerry served as an Assistant to the Controller at Guam Waterworks Authority from August 1998 to June 2003. During this period, he brought $10.2 million to the Guam Waterworks Authority by compiling and transmitting typhoon claims to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). He was also in charge of preparing agency financial statements, weekly and monthly reports, and cost of service reports to the Public Utilities Commission.

 

As a Certified Tax Preparer for The Tax Shelter, Inc., an affiliated company of Guam Pak Express, Jerry manages bookkeepers and account managers, prepares corporate, partnership, and individual taxes, and provides bookkeeping and payroll services. His diverse career also includes stints as an Assistant Buyer at Duty Free Shoppers, LTD, and as a Senior Accountant at Triple J Enterprises.

 

Jerry earned his Bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting from the University of Oregon, in Eugene, Oregon. He has extensive training in Commercial Real Estate Transactions, QuickBooks Software, Microsoft Office Suite, Real Estate and Insurance classes, Activity-Based Costing, and 404 Hazardous Mitigation Grants Writing.
